Continuing Education

Studio Classes at the Lyme Academy offer students of all levels the highest caliber of one-on-one professional art instruction, with the freedom to design their own schedules. Classes run weekdays, evenings, and weekends across ten-week trimesters, with additional classes and workshops in the summer.

Guided by acclaimed professional artists, students progress through historically-based academic exercises at their own pace, advancing through a sequential, skills-based curriculum built on clear explanation, individual guidance, and demonstration.

Each class strengthens critical observation and technical facility through exercises that introduce new concepts in a deliberate, progressive sequence—from accurate proportion and the interaction of light and form to value relationships, structure, and color theory.

To secure your spot, please complete payment when you register. Enrollment isn’t final until payment is received—unpaid registrations may be dropped from the roster, and studio access codes stay inactive until your balance is cleared.

Please note there are no classes the week of November 23–28 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
