The Chauncey Stillman Gallery at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts
The Chauncey Stillman Gallery opened its doors at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in 2003. Named in honor of the great New York art collector, philanthropist, and Lyme Academy patron, its inaugural exhibition, Beyond the BFA, was the first of many that would occupy the 1000-square foot Gallery. The Academy looks forward to continuing the tradition of public art display, launching a regular and rotating exhibition schedule that will feature both historic works and the best of contemporary figurative art under the Gallery’s vast arched ceiling and within its museum-like space.
