On November 5, 2024, Lyme Academy held a free Professional Development Day for regional art teachers. The fully-booked event saw 15 teachers in attendance at two sessions organized by Rick Lacey, Lyme Academy’s Director of Youth Programs and Principal Continuing Education Instructor. Invigorated and excited to return to their classroom with new skills, techniques, and lessons for their students, participants’ reviews were glowing: “It helped revitalize my love for art, it has been so long since I have created something of my own! I learned a lot about the academy and plan on using it as a reference for my art loving students.” Thank you to all attending teachers!
