Best in Show – Marina Melluzzo, Flora, Bronze
Works by a number of Lyme Academy Core Program and Continuing Education students are currently on display at the Lyme Art Association. The annual Deck the Walls exhibition is complemented by the 2024 Society of Connecticut Sculptors Exhibit. Marina Melluzzo, 22, and J.T. Hein, 27, second-year Core Sculpture students, are featured artists in the latter competitive regional event. Both young artists are becoming recognized for the sincerity and intensity they bring to their works, and for their distinctive contributions to the larger sculpture community.
