Covid-19 Policy for Summer Youth Academy

The health and safety of our guests are of the utmost priority to the Lyme Academy. We are regularly monitoring the guidelines of the CDC and adjusting our policies accordingly.

According to the latest CDC information for New London County, Connecticut, community transmission is low. As of January 2023, the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts no longer requires masks to be worn by students, staff, faculty, models, or visitors inside of any of our buildings.

Anyone who is feeling ill or has been exposed to anyone who is ill should not come onto campus.

If a student presents with any Covid-like symptoms, the parents or guardian will be contacted by a member of the Lyme Academy staff. The child may be picked up by a designated party, and/or a rapid test may be administered. If the test is negative, the student may choose to remain in class, but may be asked to wear a mask if their symptoms warrant.

Masks and hand sanitizer stations will be made available.
