The Lyme Academy of Fine Arts is pleased to announce its first Commencement Ceremony under new leadership, which will take place on its Old Lyme campus on June 3, 2023, between 10.30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
This special event celebrates the students who have graduated from the Academy’s intensive two-year Core Drawing & Painting Program. Internationally-acclaimed artist Bo Bartlett will serve as Commencement Speaker, and will receive an honorary diploma from the Academy.
The Commencement Ceremony will begin promptly at 10.30 a.m. in the Courtyard of the Academy. Bartlett’s address and student honors will be immediately followed by a reception for invited guests. This will be offered in the Academy’s Stobart Studio, with additional outdoor seating provided on the Academy grounds.
In keeping with the Lyme Academy’s commitment to its community, the Commencement ceremony is open to the public. Please note that seating is limited and provided on a firstcome, first-served basis; masking is welcome but not required.
