Portrait Drawing

YSPC125 Portrait Drawing
Dates: Monday, July 28 – Friday, August 1, 2025
Times: 9 am–3pm, with a one-hour break for lunch (lunch not included)
Level/Ages: All levels, ages 14-18

Working from the model, students will be instructed in a step-by-step approach to rendering an accurate and engaging portrait drawing from life. Strategies for success in composition, proportion, and structure will help students capture a likeness. More advanced techniques, such as rendering form and aesthetics, will encourage students to create dynamic finished drawings that will enrich their portfolios. 

Students of all levels are welcome.
