This workshop focuses on drawing from a gestural approach, aiming to achieve both an interesting and lifelike block-in and accuracy.  Students learn about anatomy, structural landmarks, and gestural lines before moving on to theoretical and observational value modeling of the figure, using a full range of values.  The end result will be a fully realized, lifelike representation of the live model.

Drawings will be made in graphite, using 6B through 6H pencils. They can be executed on white or toned paper, heightened with white chalk.  Demonstrations will be made on white paper.

Please note that registration for this workshop is non-refundable and does not include supplies or materials; please see the Terms and Conditions for details before making the final purchase.
