Sculpture I and II (combo)

Dates: Monday, August 14 – Friday, August 18, 2023
Times: 9 am–3pm, with a one-hour break for lunch (lunch not included)
Levels/Ages: Ages 14-18
In this introductory class, students learn the fundamental skills and techniques necessary to sculpt from direct observation. Working with oil-based clay and a variety of professional sculpting tools, students gain an understanding of process, design, and finish. As they create both bas-relief and full 3-D sculpture, students‘ ability to understand form and think spatially is also enhanced. All levels welcome.
