Timothy Wilson Workshop – Alternative Process: Landscape Tools & Temperament

Times: 9 am–4 pm (break 12–1 pm)
Workshop Location: There are multiple local plein-air locations, but in case of inclement weather, a studio on the campus of the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts will be reserved. Participants will be asked to walk short distances with materials in tow to reach painting sites.
Directions and Parking: Registered students will receive detailed information before the workshop.
Levels/Ages: This workshop is open to all levels, ages 18+.
Throughout this multi-day workshop, students will be led through a series of demonstrations, both en plein air and in the studio. Traditional tools and approaches will be presented as a foundation for exploration, allowing each student to overcome creative blocks and develop a more personalized vision of the landscape unique to the individual artist.
