Professional Development Day for Local Art Teachers

The Lyme Academy of Fine Arts invites art teachers from the region to a professional development opportunity on Tuesday, November 7.

Join Rick Lacey, Director of Youth Programs and Principal Continuing Education Instructor, for a free demo of our Youth Program. The sessions will take place from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm. Attendees are welcome to join one or both sessions.
Free. BOTH SESSIONS ARE FULL. 

The Professional Development sessions will provide insight on the objectives, methods and techniques used in the Lyme Academy Young Masters program. Attendees will have the opportunity to work through a variety of exercises to build a better understanding of a step by step approach to drawing from observation. The sessions will provide strategies to encourage growth in a student’s technical  skill, as well as promoting the ideal mindset to excel in the craft of drawing.
