Lyme Academy of Fine Arts Invites the community to Third Annual Holiday Enchantment and Tree Lighting

Make magical memories at the Third Annual Holiday Enchantment and Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Adults and children are invited to gather on the campus of the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts on Lyme Street from 3-5pm for an afternoon of festive outdoor and indoor activities including art demonstrations, music by the Old Lyme Town Band, Lyme-Old Lyme High School Select Singers, visit and selfies with Santa, food and drinks by the fire, and holiday craft making guided by Lyme Academy artists.

A s’mores galore station with coffee and hot cocoas will be available for all to enjoy. Attendees will have an opportunity to warm up and enjoy at one of the many fire pits on site, visit our exhibition on display, do some holiday shopping, and more.

Our campus art store, De Gerenday’s Fine Art Materials and Curiosities, will be hosting Ann Lightfoot. Every Ann Lightfoot piece is born of a devotion to design, beauty and elegance. At 4:30pm, the evening will move to the tree lighting and singing by the tree. Recent Town Selectman, Tim Griswold will guide the lighting of the Holiday tree to close the evening.
