- 16″ x 20″ or slightly smaller painting surface (x2). This may include linen, canvas, prepared wood panel. If using Mylar or aluminum please put a thin coat of white oil paint at least a week before. The smoother the better.
- # 2,4,6 Hog Bristle Filbert or equivalent
- #0 White Nylon detail brush
- #8 Natural Hair [Red Sable, Ox] (optional)
- Paint Rag
- Small paint thinner
- Small Linseed oil
- Palette or Palette paper
- Maul Stick or common wood dowel (optional)
- Pencil
- Sketchbook
Oil Colors:
- White (I prefer Cremnitz)
- Cadmium Yellow or equivalent
- Yellow Ochre
- Cadmium Red Light or equivalent
- Transparent Red Oxide
- Ivory Black
- French Ultramarine
- Alizarin Crimson
