Spring Term Content and Composition
Instructor: Kimberly Monson
Wednesday Instructed/Friday Monitored, 1 pm – 4 pm
March 30 to June 8
This class will explore Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture as a means of thought and communication. Specified problems are addressed in ideation, graphic interpretation, and visual semantics. Projects emphasize a variety of problematic approaches, craft, and mastery of tools. Techniques, subjects, and scope unique to synthesizing mediums and overlapping concepts will be examined through the creation of visual solutions to communication needs.
Our six-hour courses maximize necessary studio time by having both instructed and monitored sessions. Wednesday is instructed and Friday is monitored.
