Portrait Drawing with Mina Mohtasham and Thomas LaPine

This foundational drawing class is rooted in the Academic studio tradition. Students will work from the clothed portrait model, utilizing a series of direct observational skills and through a sequential, systematic progression designed to strengthen visual acuity and develop a strategic approach to interpreting the visual experience. An intimate class size allows for in-studio demonstrations and individualized critiques.
