TUITION EXCHANGE

The Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts enthusiastically invites applications from prospective Fine Arts students, from other Tuition Exchange (TE) member institutions. We are delighted to have become a member of the Tuition Exchange Program and it is important to us to support the educational opportunities of the children of colleagues in higher education.

ENTERING STUDENTS

Tuition Exchange Awards

Lyme Academy College offers Full Tuition Scholarship for accepted TE candidates. If a TE student receives other financial aid, adjustments will be made to combine all Aid received, not to exceed their total Cost of Attendance. Filing the FAFSA is highly recommended. The Human Resources Office, in accordance with Tuition Exchange regulations regarding import and export ratios, has established that Lyme Academy College may accept 1 applicant for the 2009-10 academic year. The Lyme Academy College awards TE scholarships to first year undergraduate applicants with consideration given to transfer applicants if space is available.

The Admissions Office will review Applicants for TE scholarship selection, and rank those who meet the artistic and academic requirements of the college. Applicants that exhibit the strongest credentials may be admitted to the college on a rolling basis from December 15th through April 15th, depending on the import/export balance established by the college over a five-year period.

Applying to Lyme Academy College

Tuition Exchange applicants must file a Lyme Academy College application with the admissions office. See how to Apply. Earlier is definitely better. To request an application, contact  Debra or Cara in the admissions office: 860-434-5232 x119 or Email: admissions@lymeacademy.edu

Tuition Exchange Certification

Applicants for Lyme Academy College’s Tuition Exchange Scholarships need to be certified as TE candidates by their exporting institution, and meet the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts general admission requirements. Students should apply for Lyme Academy admission simultaneously with applying for TE.

Receiving and Renewing the Tuition Exchange Scholarship

Lyme Academy College TE Scholarship recipient will receive the award for a total of 8 semesters of full-time undergraduate study. The TE officer of the exporting institution is responsible for certifying the TE scholars each year. The College will renew the scholarship upon receipt of the annual certification document, provided the student is in good academic and social standing. In addition, the scholarship recipient must remain current in payment of charges to the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts not covered by the Tuition Exchange in order to receive scholarship renewal.
