The Lyme Academy is a studio-centered Art
College. By this we mean student life takes place in the studio – the center of life
for a visual artist. Walk into a studio and you’ll immediately

their vision. Lyme is an art college whose facilities are designed to assist those who are
fully engaged in creating representational and figurative art. The
studios are designed to help facilitate building a solid foundation for
the development of artists who value an art college dedicated to the
Fine Arts.
Lyme, as an art college that focuses on the Fine

best education in Drawing, Painting, Illustration, and Sculpture, centering its
curriculum on the representational study of Nature and the Human Figure. The distinguished
